Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay (Meal: B,L,D)
08h00 – 08h30 . Pick-up at hotel and start the scenic, 3.5 hour drive to Halong Bay. Enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta country side and have a short break on the way.

Option 2 : Hanoi City tour (Meal: B/L )
Highlight of tour: Ho Chi Minh mausoleum – Temple of literature – Ethnology museum – Hoan Kiem Lake – Old quarter – Tran Quoc pagoda.
8:00: We pick you up from your hotel, start the tour by visiting the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum - the final resting place of the beloved national hero, Uncle Ho - and President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house where he lived off and on from 1958 to 1969. Enjoy the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho's final resting-palace Lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda, built by King Ly Thai To in 1049 the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi.
After that, you’ll have a chance to explore the Tran Quoc Pagoda on the shore of west lake. From there, it’s onto the Temple of literature, which was Viet Nam’s first university and is dedicated to Confucius.
12.30: You have lunch at a restaurant in the Old Quarter with local Vietnamese traditional Cuisines.
13:30: You’ll visit Hoan Kiem Lake, the heart and soul of Hanoi.
Finally, You’ll stop in at Museum of Ethnology. Located west of the city centre, this museum offer informative and well-documented display on the country’s 54 ethnic groups, include elaborate and colorful hill-tribe costumes, weaving designs, musical instruments, fishing implements, work tools and other functional objects. The display continues on to the garden outside with fascinating examples of minority housing from the King’s to the ones of the ethnic
groups in Central Highlands.

Option 3 :Hanoi – Perfume Pagoda (Meal: B/L )
Perfume Pagoda is one of the highlights of the Hanoi area and one of the most important religious sites in Buddhist Vietnam. Every spring, after the Vietnamese New Year, thousands of Vietnamese pilgrims come here to pray for all the health and prosperity they need to get them through the year. The pagoda itself is built into limestone cliffs and can only be reached by boat and foot, as there are no roads into this area. You will glide along scenic waterways and walk up steep mountain paths visiting the pagodas and temples that were built in this area over the last centuries.
08h15: We pick you up at your hotel and depart for the Perfume Pagoda.
10.00: Arrival at the Perfume Pagoda. After a scenic hour and a half boat ride along The Yen stream and a 2 hour trek, you reach the Huong Tich Cave, which houses the Pagoda of the Perfume Vestige.
Next, you'll visit the Thien Tru Pagoda or Pagoda leading to Heaven before stopping at a restaurant for lunch.
16.30: After, the boat trip back to Ben Duc, we depart for Hanoi, arriving in the city around 18.30.
